Daily Production
Record the daily target vs actual output. Any shortfall is saved as a production loss with its value (e.g. target 1000 → produced 900 = 100 lost).

How it works
- Each production entry creates a new stock batch (lot) e.g. PROD-20261028-1 with its unit cost.
- If produced < target, the system records a Production Shortage loss: (target − produced) × unit cost.
- Recording the reason for any shortfall (breakdown, material shortage…) is recommended for accountability, but optional. You can also add production directly from Inventory → Stock In → Source: Production.
- Losses appear in Inventory → Losses Register and reduce profit in Reports.
